Melissa Kohler, owner of Kohler Investment Management, has been with LPL since 2009, and a financial advisor since 2005.  Prior to that, she was a transportation manager for 20 years.  

Melissa holds her FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses through LPL Financial.  

Melissa has an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree from Valdosta State University.  

She is a member of St. James United Methodist Church where past activities have included the Finance Committee, United Methodist Women, Divorce Recovery, and Dave Ramsay classes.  

Melissa enjoys time off spent with family and friends, especially her husband Karl of 20 years and son Kirby who now lives and works in Dallas. They also have 2 rescue dogs and a cat.  She enjoys running, and captains a USTA Team Tennis League.  Her greatest outdoor passion however, is her gardens where she enjoys digging in the dirt and watching God magically turn the land into beautiful flowers.
